Life can be Interesting

Carol and I have been engaged in a series of dialogs over the two years (retirement brings on these encounters). They are a delightful "voyage of Discovery" for old friends that share too many years to count.

The dialogs are the most open and
sometimes painful for both of us. For the first time in our lives we have no masks by which we can dodge behind. It is obvious that the youthful sweet bird of our beginnings has long flown away. Those heady years of corporate hustle and politics of business (Mr. and Mrs First Nighter) have also taken to wing.

What we have now are two old friends in "The
Autumn of their Lives" who so want to know the other without the masks.

Guess what?

We think each other are wonderful and do help each other in an indifferent world.

I awake often during the night as "Old Folks" are want to do, and I take great comfort that my wife, friend and lover of so many years is beside me. That has no price nor can it be priced. I have been uniquely honored with the companionship of a wonderful human being.

Thought I would write this so that all can understand we have been here and been together. Meanwhile here is some more "Art"

Dang these sins
